ESTIMATOR – Aurora, Ontario

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Heavy Civil Construction.

Minimum technical requirements for this position are as follows:

• Three years experience relating to project estimating.
• Two years Heavy Civil estimating experience within the Hydropower Generation sector.
• Experience with estimating $20,000,000 + projects.
• Experience with estimating projects across Canada.
• A good working knowledge of computerized estimating programs - proficiency in the use of EBC or HCSS is a definite asset. 
• Proficiency with Primavera.
• Ability to put together and estimate from start to finish.
• Experience in Conceptual, Hard Dollar and Design-Build Estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to determine scope of work.
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Preparation of detail, takeoffs from all divisions and construction schedule
• Participate in bid reviews.

Preference will be given to holders of a CCA Gold Seal Estimating/Project Management Certification or other equivalent specialized estimating training or experience.
